This policy explains what personal data Mongol.Rent collects when you book, and how we use it. This is placeholder copy pending legal review.

1. What we collect

When you submit a booking we collect your name, email, phone number, rental dates, chosen vehicle and add-ons, and any optional details you provide such as passport/ID, flight number, or a second driver.

2. How we use it

We use your information solely to process and confirm your booking, contact you about it, and prepare your vehicle for pick-up. We do not sell your data.

3. Email & marketing

We send transactional emails (request received, booking confirmed). You only receive marketing emails if you explicitly opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Storage & retention

Booking records are stored securely in our content system and kept only as long as needed for operations, accounting, and legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us operate (e.g. email delivery) and where required by law. They may process data outside Mongolia.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
